PATA History…

Pension Administration and Trust Accounting has been around since the fall of 1983.  Originally the pension department of a small financial planning firm PATA was born as the result of a “restructuring”.  Never looking back PATA continued to service its client base of small closely held professional corporations and successful self-employed individuals.

PATA’s current owner, Howe Woolfolk, came to work for PATA from the operations department of the Boston branch of Dean Witter Reynolds.   Back in the days when the DJIA first broke 1000 he switched gears and focused on providing and servicing retirement plans.  From the world of investing to learning the “ins and outs” of pension plans was a natural move.  In 1999 he took over the reigns of PATA and is now looking to create a stronger presence in the pension administration arena, retirement plans for the small closely held professional corporations and successful self-employed individuals “niche”.

From the beginning to the present PATA has held on to most of its original clients due to timely personal service.  PATA’s main (if not only) source of new clients is through referrals by financial advisors, CPAs, attorneys, or from other satisfied clients.  This website has been viewed more than ever imagined and in some cases been the source of professional introductions, and even new clients.

Thank you for considering PATA for your retirement plan needs.  PATA looks forward to establishing and or servicing your pension plan.
